How does the menu selection work?
We establish a set menu every month - the selection varies from meat and casseroles, to pasta dishes, veggie bakes, sides, soups, desserts, and anything in between. Choose at least 6 dinners and as many as you want after that in any combination. We do not charge more per meal if you order less than 12 items!  

How much does it cost?
The cost of 6 dinners is $102.00 and each dish after that is $17 each. A FULL suggested session of 12 dinners is $204.00. Containers and Ziplocs are included and there is no sales tax charged. Your reservation holds your spot and payment is made at the time of the session. We accept credit cards, checks and cash.

What is included?
We provide a convenient location to do the assembly, all of the ingredients - prepped and ready for use, and easy instructions to prepare each dinner.  The meals will be packaged in containers that we provide for freezing and heating later as desired. You will walk out with delicious and nutritious dinners to last throughout the coming month and have fun in the process! NO heat cooking is involved - you do that later in your own home...

How does a session work?
See our session detail page for exactly what to expect - Basically,  you show up at your scheduled time, we guide you through a series of well organized and clearly understandable recipe stations for the dinners you chose, and you leave an hour or two later with several weeks worth of home-made meals! Each meal will have a label with ingredient information and heating instructions.

How can I customize the meals for my family?
We want you to be relaxed and cook like you would in your own kitchen. Some of the ingredients are portion controlled, but add as much or as little salt, pepper, chile, garlic, spices, pasta, etc. as you would normally like. Don't like an ingredient? - leave it out. Other substitutions MUST be coordinated ahead of time (please contact us first, and also note them in "comments" section of the registration page).

Lower Fat and Lower Carb Content in the meals can be achieved by adding less of the cheese, dairy or sugar when you are making your meals. Sugar substitute is available at an additional cost. Portion control is critical when losing/maintaining weight - ours are generous yet align closely with FDA standards whenever possible. Providing healthy side dishes of salads and whole grains are recommended! As a whole our food is healthy and as wholesome as we can provide. We hope to emulate as much as we can what you would choose for your family cooking in your own home.

I have special dietary needs. How can I participate?
Special needs could include: Low Fat, Low Carb, Vegetarian, Lactose Intolerant, Kosher, Low Sodium, MSG free, Gluten Free, Low Cholesterol, Organic etc..... as you can see there are just too many to even list. Our food is fairly straightforward and healthy for most diets. We do our best to look out for the health of our customers yet still obtain the best quality ingredients AT THE BEST PRICE. This is important because we cannot: 1) afford specialty ingredients and 2) shop especially for one person. Please ask any questions you might have before ordering - perhaps you can substitute or bring your own ingredient alternative. What if I want to share meals with someone or am single/small family and want them split for myself?
No problem. We have smaller pans if it is a pan dish and you can use smaller Ziplocs or whatever you prefer to store them in. Most meals can be split in half to serve 2-3 each. You will have to decide what is best for you and be able to split the recipe when you are at the assembly station. We cannot allow meal reservations of less than 6 meals.

When are the sessions?
See our schedule to pick a time that is convenient for you. Plan for about one hour for 6 meals and two hours for 12. We have a small kids area with toys and movies to entertain little ones should you need to bring them...(If you are coming with a large group of kids it might be good to have one older child/babysitter along to keep them happy....)

The meals sound great - but what if I don't have time to do the assembly?
Easy! We'll assemble your choices for you in disposable aluminum containers ready for you to pick up - ready for the freezer or oven - This service is currently FREE.  Choose the day you would like to pickup your meals on the schedule page and click the "Pickup" link for that day. Indicate any special instructions and what  time that day you can pick your meals up in the comments section. We will call you to confirm at 24 hours in advance. Contact us if you have any questions. 

I think I registered, but I'm not sure it worked. How can I check?
On the Do It Dinners homepage, there is a link where you can "Check my session details". Choose the month you scheduled, put in your phone number you used to register with, and you will see your information. If it doesn't bring you up, verify you are using the correct phone number, with no area code, and with a dash (000-0000). If it still won't come up, contact us. 

Can I register for a friend or sign someone else up?
It's best if each person signs themselves up, especially if they are new customers, because the first time you sign up it will ask for your name, address, phone number and email address to get you set up. So if you want to sign others up, please get all of that info for them if they are not in the database.

Can I bring someone with me to help?
Yes, but let us know in the comments section or by email, just in case. If we have a full session and if other people are bringing helpers, it can get crowded.

How do I change my phone number or address?
Email us or call us... we'll change it for you! We especially need a current phone number and email address so we can send you news and confirm your sessions. 

How do I change my order?
Email us or call us... we'll change it for you! Please don't try to re-register, it will only create a double entry for you!
